Splitter Cables

Passive Splitters

The passive splitter cables offer isolation between the output cables to ensure there is no cross-talk between the devices receiving the pulse signal which could result in corruption of the data. These splitter cables can be supplied with two or three output cables and can measure both uni and bi-directional flow.

Electronic Splitters

Electronic splitter cables offer total isolation between the input an all output cables, they are fitted with a battery with a 10 year life expectancy under normal operating conditions. These splitter cables can be supplied with two or three output cables and can measure both uni and bi-directional flow.

Combiner Cables

These cables allow the user to measure flow pulses from two meters and combine them into a single input to the receiving device (i.e. data logger etc.). These can be used measure the pulses from the likes of a combination water meter (pulses from both the main and bypass meter) or two independent water meters.

Bespoke splitter cables for water meters

There is an ever increasing demand for splitter cables in the water industry, especially since the Water Companies split into Retail and Wholesale in 2017. This allows the Water Company to measure the usage of their larger commercial customers and at the same time, the customer can view their data via a data logger or AMR device.

All splitter cables are made to suit our customers own specific requirements. Our vast stock of pulse units/pulse cables used on water meters and flowmeters and data logger connectors allow us to make up these cables within a few days.
